Netflix picked up MIXTAPE by Alice Wu & Stacey Menear. A thirteen-year-old girl sets out on a journey to find all the music in an attempt to feel closer to her parents.

Logline: Set against the 1936 Olympics in Berlin where Jesse Owens, the son of an Alabama sharecropper, shattered Adolf Hitler’s myth of Aryan supremacy by winning a record four gold medals in the 100-meter dash, the 200-meter dash, the long jump and the 400-meter relay.

Logline: Four years after his daughter was abducted and presumed murdered in a shack in Oregan, a man receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend and what he finds there will change his life forever.

Logline: When a businesswoman starts lying in an attempt to advance her career and life, she runs into trouble when the lies turn into reality.

Logline: A young boy, raised in a graveyard and educated by ghosts, with a solitary guardian who belongs to neither the world of the living nor of the dead, must handle obstacles such as the ancient Indigo Man beneath the hill, a gateway to a desert leading to an abandoned city of ghouls, and the strange and terrible menace of the Sleer.

Logline: A woman is rescued by a frontiersman who vows to help her track down the Comanche war party that murdered her husband and kidnapped her children.

Logline: Story centers on 16-year old Pi Patel, a young boy on his way to America, who after a horrible shipwreck, finds himself stranded for the next 227 days in shark-infested waters aboard a 26-foot lifeboat with a wounded zebra, a spotted hyena, a seasick orangutan, and a 450-pound Bengal tiger.

Logline: A gritty coming of age story about a going away party held for a young surfer before he departs to surf in Mexico and then go off to college.
