Acquisitions

Lead the curation and development of cost-effective originals to drive success across both linear and SVOD platforms, fostering diversity and inclusion in our content offerings.
Track and evaluate finished films and literary material for acquisitions, film/TV development, research, and writing sample purposes.
Read and watch a high volume of weekly script and film submissions. Write concise coverage analyzing submitted films for consideration of acquisition or talent tracking.
Facilitate meetings for high-profile entertainment executives and potential business partners e.g., producers, directors. Read scripts and write coverage when requested.
Maintain calendar and scheduling for Acquisitions department. Schedule meetings with potential business partners e.g., agents, film reps, distributors etc.
