Logline: The year is 1916, and two young women return to upstate New York from an adventure in Europe. Their families want them to marry and settle down, but, instead, the adventurous women answer an ad from a lawyer in Colorado, looking for school teachers. When they arrive in the small town of Elkhead, it is clear that the people and the land present more challenges than they expected.
