In competition with 20th Century Fox’s stagnant version, Paramount Pictures is now developing a new Jason and the Argonauts film. Sources confirm that the project is moving along quickly, with concept art and VFX presentations already being put together.
Paramount Pictures is moving forward with Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters 2, with renowned French director Bruno Aveillan at the helm. The sequel, which was rumored to be in jeopardy after the first film’s director Tommy Wirkola announced that he would not be returning, is being reworked with a new take from Aveillan.
Logline: Follows a new family, the Fleeges, who move into a house and discover a video camera and a box of tapes in the garage. After looking through the camera’s lens, they begin to see the paranormal activity happening around them — including the re-emergence of young Kristi and Katie.
Logline: Revolves around the lives of two teenage firls, Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield, who lived in the fictional town of Sweet Valley, Calif. Jessica was the more conniving and materialistic of the sisters and usually needed help from the more practical Elizabeth when her schemes went awry.
Logline: Follows a 17-year-old girl named Janie with the unwanted ability to become sucked into people’s dreams. Not surprisingly, she sees things she would rather not see. But when she gets pulled into a terrible nightmare, Janie dangerously goes from mere witness to participant.
