Warner Bros. Pictures picks up “Black Samurai” by Blitz Bazawule
BLACK SAMURAI
The rapper-turned-actor is on a roll, having just been cast in the YA movie The Hate U Give following appearances in John Wick: Chapter 2 and Girls Trip.
The show will be based on the 1974 series of books by Marc Olden which was adapted into a film starring Jim Kelly in 1977. Wu-Tan Clan’s RZA is set produce the new iteration which has been gaining plenty of traction.
