The 26-year-old British lead of Ang Lee’s 2016 film Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk also has roles in the upcoming Mary, Queen of Scots with Margot Robbie and Yorgos Lanthimos’ The Favorite.
Based on the memoir by Garrard Conley, Boy Erased is a provocative drama about a young gay man who is forced to undergo conversion therapy to “cure” his homosexuality.
