DARK UNIVERSE
Things are shifting around in the cinematic comic book universe. Doug Liman, who was originally attached to direct the Channing Tatum superhero vehicle Gambit has since left the project and is now set to direct Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment’s adaptation of Dark Universe.
Despite the departure of Guillermo Del Toro, it’s now apparent that the Justice League Dark adaptation, otherwise known as Dark Universe, is moving forward under the guide of Scott Rudin.
Logline: After a series of ancient tomes are stolen by a madman hellbent on the destruction of humanity, occult detective John Constantine seeks out a group of heroes that specialize in the mystic and arcane in order to save the world.
