Logline: A CNN news crew is taken hostage aboard a plane in the Seychelles by Somali pirate/terrorists. As the tension mounts, the odds of surviving look increasingly grim as cultures and ideologies clash.

David Oyelowo is joining the cast of Dreamwork’s THE HELP. To be directed by Tate Taylor, the story follows a young white woman in the early 1960s in Mississippi who becomes interested in the plight of the African-American domestic servants that every family has working for them. She writes their stories about mistreatment, abuse and heartbreak, all just before the Civil Rights revolution.

Logline: Set as a prequel origin story to the Planet of the Apes franchise, story will take place in modern day, where a scientist begins doing experiments on the chimpanzee, who will eventually lead the apes in rebellion, conquering humanity and creating a planet where apes ruled and humans served.

Logline: Story centers on Nina Simone’s relationship she had with her assistant Clifton Henderson.

The events unfold in real time as we intercut between the car and the beginning of that day, following the four separate stories of each of the kids — where they come from, who they are, and the choices they made that landed them in this car on this one fateful night.

Logline: Story focuses on the historic–and often violent–marches that took place in Selma, Alabama in 1965, which marked the political and emotional peak of the civil rights movement.

Logline: Follows Abraham Lincoln’s years in the White House, from 1861-1865, and his victory in the Civil War.

Logline: Twenty-two years after the events of “Jurassic Park,” Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond.
