Robert Rodriguez is in talks to direct the live-action adaptation of Alita: Battle Angel. James Cameron and Jon Landau will produce the feature for Twentieth Century Fox. The original magna follows a female cyborg rescued from the scrap heap by a scientist in the twenty-sixth century.
