Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman are producing under their Picture Company banner, while original director John Carpenter will serve as an executive producer.
The creator of the Idris Elba-led detective series Luther has been tapped to writer 20th Century Fox’s Escape From New Yorkremake. The remake of John Carpenter’s 1981 classic is being produced by Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman of The Picture Company.
