Maintains heavy calendar; schedules appointments and meetings with both internal and external partners and agencies.
Responsible for a range of administrative and production-related tasks, including managing schedules, handling phone calls, and interfacing with various production offices.
Provides a full range of administrative support to the executive. This individual must be pro-active and able to prioritize while managing a demanding, ever-changing calendar. Must provide strategic time management, understanding the nature of meetings to anticipate executive’s preparation.
Assist with project coordination and help manage the development pipeline, ensuring timely and efficient progress. Conduct research and stay current with industry trends, films, and TV shows to support informed decision-making.
Answers phones, schedules appointments, confirms meetings, maintains daily schedules, photocopies material, facsimile and e-mail distributions, routes incoming and outgoing mail that may include large distribution lists.
Provide high-level administrative support including, but not limited to, day-to-day scheduling, call rolling, contact management, note-taking, international travel coordination, and coordination on feature film projects from all stages of development through delivery.
Facilitate meetings for high-profile entertainment executives and potential business partners e.g., producers, directors. Read scripts and write coverage when requested.
Handle scheduling, phones, expenses and other administrative duties.
Manage and prioritize project tasks and appointments. Evaluate project submissions when requested. Take notes in meetings and summarize action items.
Develop and oversee slate of original programming that aligns to the creative vision for Skydance Sports.
Manage and evaluate incoming submissions of written and visual material and keep an accurate account of all materials that are submitted. Evaluate materials such as scripts, cuts, outlines, and submissions.
Perform clerical duties such as filing, typing, copying documents, handling incoming and outgoing mail and maintaining office supplies.
Manage, organize and track all development materials and timelines. Manage notes and feedback process for all development and unscripted projects.
Data entry, filing and tracking of all incoming and existing Creative/administrative documents, including script/project submissions. Read scripts and write coverage when requested.
Provide support to Creative team on various Creative development projects including: writing coverage on prospective ideas; taking and compiling notes during meetings; tracking and summarizing market trends/broadcaster line-ups.
Identify, delegate and prioritize the information that flows in via telephone, e-mail, and courier so that issues are handled appropriately.
Responsible for providing essential support to all areas under the oversight the studio including but not limited to scheduling and calendars, budgets and cost reporting, and more.
Build processes and systems that will assist the Executive Vice President, Development in running the Creative slate of the company across multiple projects and initiatives that the team will be spearheading
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and proactive team player, with an enthusiasm and desire to grow in the world of production for scripted Television.
Identify and source IP by engaging writers and filmmakers to shape Film projects that meet the company’s slate needs and targets
Scheduling and maintaining a complex executive calendar, arranging executive + talent travel, scheduling calls + meetings, processing expense reports and screening and logging phone calls and emails. Other administrative and clerical duties and projects as assigned.
Ability to source top writers, develop relationships, and an interest in new media is key.
Identify, curate and evaluate appropriate Content for exploitation across Theatrical and home media platforms.
Managing calendars and schedules, including coordinating meetings and conference/video calls.
Develop and supervise budgets, production schedules, and workflows. Lead and manage internal production, Post Production, and Production Finance teams establish policies and procedures representing best practices in the industry.
The primary responsibilities of this role include scheduling, handling phones, coordinating travel, and record keeping.
