Sony Pictures and Misher Films are moving forward with a remake of the 2011 Mexican crime drama Miss Bala from director Gerardo Naranjo. Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer is set to adapt the screenplay, based on the original script by Naranjo and Mauricio Katz.
