Between April 1st and April 30th, we tracked a total of 22 feature specs out. While it’s a positive from last April, it’s continuing our steady decline of specs from the past couple of months. We’ve seen a 12% decrease in specs from March’s count. We’ve continued to decrease in specs since February, wherein in a traditional market, we’d see increases in April, a hot month for the material.
GODZILLA VS. KONG
While most years’ November is a time to look back on the things we’re thankful for, 2020’s November decided to serve up a heaping pile of news for our gravy and cranberry sauce.
Wingard’s dark instincts should serve him well on Godzilla vs. Kong, which is slated for release on May 22, 2020. Plot details remain unknown, but expect the secret government organization Monarch to serve as a bridge between the two franchises.
Terry Rossio (Pirates of the Caribbean) will lead the team, which includes Patrick McKay, J.D. Payne, Lindsey Beer, T.S. Nowlin, J. Michael Straczynski and Cat Vasko.
