In an unexpected move, Amazon has given the ax to their period drama Good Girls Revolt just after one season — but the show isn’t necessarily canceled yet. The reason for pulling the plug on the series is not because there has been a lack of critical praise but because Sony Pictures Television, who is responsible for the series, is looking to get the rights back in order to find another home for the drama.

Season 1, Episodes 8-10 – After a few rocky plot points, Good Girls Revolt finishes strong with the finale. If there’s anything that the ending of this show proves, it’s that a) women should get equal rights and b) this show should get a second season.
