The TV Development and Current Series Intern will shadow and be able to share their creative point of view on content with high-level executives on both sides of Development and Production.

Database Management – including confidential Airtable programming & tracking grids, Contacts and Distribution Lists Updates, and Writer & Director List Updates. Reading incoming scripts, books, and submissions to provide coverage and thoughtful feedback in team meetings.
Heavy data entry and record keeping maintaining and organizing literary databases. Track industry news and book reviews while conducting research on literary trends, authors, and potential new projects. Read and verbally pitch material for the team.
Reading series scripts and subsequently providing coverage and creative feedback on the material. In addition, you will summarize episodic information into succinct loglines. Selecting and distributing dailies from our existing and upcoming series.
Own the submissions tracking log by logging and updating with content submissions and materials. Review potential acquisitions, screen materials, read scripts for coverage, and attend pitch meetings. Coordinate meeting agendas and build monthly meeting presentations on PowerPoint.
Learning the day-to-day processes of our television warehouse functions, including set inventory, asset management, and warehouse administration. Primary focus will be Set Inventory.
Reviewing outlines, scripts, animatics, audio mixes, etc. for a variety of DC projects. They’ll also provide necessary research into DC characters, locations, items, etc. to provide suggestions and guidance on what DC IP to use in any given project in development.
Supporting Assistants with grids, project tracking, some calendar scheduling and phones, virtual and in-person meeting setups, Airtable database updates, and general daily administrative tasks.
Analyzing scripts to identify casting opportunities and create breakdowns. Supporting various talent initiatives such as Actor Audition Workshops and the Disney Television Discovers: Actors Showcase. Supporting with light scheduling, updating lists and casting databases, and overall general office support.
Assist Production Executives, Managers and Coordinators on roughly twenty films in various stages of Development, Prep, Production, and Postproduction.
Track, organize, and manage incoming documentary submissions and materials on past and current shows in partnership with Development executives and assistant. Assist in building and maintaining competitive industry tracking documents, developing an understanding of the documentary and nonfiction industry.
Hands-on experience and exposure to the global sports and entertainment industry, interns participate in events such as welcome/farewell sessions, a speaker series featuring company leaders, and career training workshops.
Reading and evaluating incoming writing samples. Assisting with light organizational work to ensure the logging of materials is consistent across the entire live action slate.
Focus on creating the materials, textures, and grooms that define the look of 3D characters and environments.
Read, analyze, and provide detailed coverage on scripts and books, offering honest and thoughtful creative feedback. Conduct in-depth research to support current and upcoming projects, industry trends, and potential story ideas.

Interns will assist in general production, script, control room operations, music, research, talent, and various other departments within our production. Regardless of department, interns will perform production runs on an as-needed basis.
