Logline: In a futuristic world, kids are called “Uglies” until they reach 16 and get surgically transformed into the attractive “Pretties,” who move to the glamorous part of town. A precocious teen is threatened with being denied the procedure unless she spies on a friend who skipped the operation and joined a rebellious group.
Logline: New York City is in danger of losing it’s water supply if one of the two main underground acqueduct tunnels (which are near 100 years old) collapses. Though work began on Tunnel 3 in 1970, it is not slated to be finished until 2020.
