The nominees for the 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards were announced today, and with no surprise, HBO took the top spot raking in 22 nominations while ABC and Netflix tied for second with 14 nods. With critically acclaimed shows like The Americans, the new Donald Glover comedy Atlanta, and the uber-successful The People Vs. OJ Simpson FX ranked fourth.
Julie Bowen
Modern Family star Julie Bowen is set to join the growing cast of Melissa McCarthy comedy Life of the Party. Co-written by McCarthy and her husband Ben Falcone, who will also direct, the movie is being likened to the 1986 Rodney Dangerfield classic Back to School.
Plot details are kept under wraps.
