Logline: Nervous grad student David Weiss has never been the toughest guy in the room — in fact, he’s just come down with his second case of strep throat in a month, forcing him to bail on an exotic island-hopping vacation with his girlfriend, Kim. But when Kim and her family are targeted by Brazilian pirates, David grabs his amoxicillin, hops the next flight, and teams up with a lunatic expatriate, putting it all on the line for love.
