Liaise with Feature Animation at Netflix which will include executives from cross-functional teams such as Creative, production, Finance, Business Affairs, and Legal Affairs as well as the Film’s Creator, Executive Producers, and production crew to manage, guide, and problem-solve throughout all phases of production.
Managing writers to develop treatments, scripts, and pitches. This includes developing existing and internal concepts into elevated Films and Series.
Track and identify highly entertaining unscripted sports stories. Organize notes and creative feedback for producers and directors on outlines and cuts.
Oversee a global production slate of original IP, reviewing scripts, treatments, outlines, production schedules, assets, Music, dailies and cuts and providing timely feedback.
Candidate must have comprehensive knowledge and experience working with top-tier talent as well as understanding of creators in other mediums including literary authors, Comic Book/Graphic Novel creators and video game developers.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in identifying source material/talent for the adult Animation audience, giving Creative guidance and feedback to top level show runners on outlines, scripts, animatics, character designs, casting, and cuts.
Evaluate the quality of scripts and offer Creative feedback. Seek out and assess pilot proposals, scripts, and pitches. Work with writers to develop stories and scripts.
Oversee an active slate of development projects and maintain a pipeline of compelling, engaging and producible content for the Kids & Family audience.
