The long-gestating Scalped at WGN America looks to be on the move as the project has cast Lily Gladstone in the first series regular role. The pilot was first ordered almost a year ago and is based on DC’s Vertigo imprint, first published in 2007.

The nominations for the 2017 Independent Spirit Awards were announced today at the W Hotel in Hollywood by Jenny Slate and Edgar Ramirez. Leading the pack in nominations are American Honey and Moonlight, which garnered six nominations each. The drama Manchester by the Sea received five noms while the biopic Jackie got four.
