Coordinate and attend writer and director general meetings for potential staffing as well as pitch meetings; take notes. Track and read incoming spec material and submissions, agency and staffing submissions; manage submissions database.

Organizing and maintaining essential documents such as scripts, call sheets, and development materials. Providing day-to-day administrative support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Manage a busy calendar, coordinate meetings, and handle phone correspondence with professionalism and discretion. Work closely with writers, actors, and multi-hyphenates, gaining valuable exposure to the entertainment industry’s creative and managerial facets.

Manage phone log, prepare agendas, maintain calendar schedules (including calls and virtual meetings), maintain spreadsheets, and draft correspondence. Research and aid in preparing materials for presentation decks, including gathering, compiling, verifying, and analyzing information and data for memos, reports, presentations, etc.

Handle submissions to studios, production companies, and networks; assist in tracking project status and responses. Provide creative input through script coverage, development notes, and feedback for ongoing projects.

Retrieve relevant archival footage from the extensive ABC News library to support current news stories and enhance their context. Conduct thorough fact-checking and verification of information presented in news stories to ensure accuracy and credibility.

Managing an international calendar, answering, setting, & connecting calls, balancing schedules, and coordinating meetings, multitasking and prioritizing tasks, interfacing with other Activist offices, handling both domestic and international travel, and project management.
