Between April 1st and April 30th, 2024, we tracked a total of 12 new specs on the market – three of which were TV pilots. This was a decrease from March, but not unexpected. Of the 12 scripts we tracked, 3 were TV pilots. Drama dominated the top genre spot with 7 projects associated with the genre. Comedy and Thriller tied for a second place with 4 projects each. Then Action, Adventure, Family, Historical and Horror all tied for third place with 2 projects each.

Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling meetings, resupplying our office, greeting visitors, weekly preparation of check deposits, research, creative feedback, etc.

Between July 1st and July 31st, we tracked a total of 19 feature specs out. This is a decline from the specs out the previous month, but it was to be expected with many taking long-awaited vacations, coupled with the bottlenecking we’re seeing in the development chain. However, it’s not the drop-off we anticipated and is still on par with the past month’s numbers.

Love is in the air as we reach what some believe to be the most romantic month of the year – February. Sure we had yet another impeachment trial, but from awkward online Hinge dates to sweet cards from Grandma, February is showing some promise on all fronts.
