Logline: Pitched as “There’s Something About Mary,” but with an Apatow bromance, and the heart of “500 Days of Summer.” The story focuses on a guy who has always loved movies; the kind of guy that when he was a kid and saw “Superman,” he dressed up in the costume and ran around the neighborhood rescuing cats. He has been waiting his whole life on “The One” and to have that big Hollywood Ending, and when it hasn’t happened he starts taking the messages from the movies he loves and tries to make it happen, much to the chagrin of his two best friends.
