Season 1, Episodes 8-10 – In the closing episodes of the season, Charlie and Linda must figure out a way out of the hole they dug themselves into without getting killed or jailed. Their son Nick, must cope with Emma’s death while owning up for his part with and Fonzo has comes to terms with hid daughter’s impending wedding and rapidly dwindling power. It’s one last con or bust as Season 1 of Shut Eye reaches its conclusion.
SHUT EYE
Season 1, Episodes 5-7 – Shut Eye finally lives up to it’s promise delivering entertaining episodes. As we move to the middle section of the season, our characters find themselves at low points and tight spots as Charlie’s visions get stronger and more vivid.
season 1, Episodes 2-4 Continuing, but not necessarily expanding, on the first episode Shut Eye seems not too sure on what it wants to do outside of the big con with the big payoff. These next 3 episodes feel like scattershot placesetting rather than continuing to tell a story. Are these characters even going through an arc? And outside of the big score, what’s the end game?
Season 1, Episode 1 – In the series premire episode “Death”, Shut Eye quickly establishes it con psychics and the seedy world they inhabit. The show presents the question of it’s hero actually having psychic abilities or not.
