BBC One’s high-profile limited series Cormoran Strike is headed across the pond to HBO. The project is based on the crime novel by J.K. Rowling, written under the pen name Robert Galbraith. HBO previously picked up the miniseries adaptation of Rowling’s Casual Vacancy.

At a Warner Bros. fan event in London on Thursday, Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling suggested that there will be at least five films in the spin-off franchise. The studio had initially announced a trilogy with the final film hitting theaters in 2020.
