Logline: In 2004, the FBI raided the Masjid As-Salam, a working-class mosque in Albany, New York, and arrested two of its members on charges of money laundering and supporting terrorism. The government’s subsequent case against the Imam of the mosque, Yassin Aref and one of its founding members, Mohammad Hossain garnered international publicity, shocked the city, and terrified the Capital District’s Muslim community. As the details of the case against the two men emerged there were more questions then answers.
