Between July 1st and July 31st, we tracked a total of 19 feature specs out. This is a decline from the specs out the previous month, but it was to be expected with many taking long-awaited vacations, coupled with the bottlenecking we’re seeing in the development chain. However, it’s not the drop-off we anticipated and is still on par with the past month’s numbers.

Centers on two desperate brothers who attempt a robbery in order to pay for their dying mother’s health care. The job goes south and during their escape, they steal an ambulance — only to discover that it’s occupied by a dying heart patient.

Logline: Inspired by a true story, an unlikely bond forms when a cab driver takes an elderly woman on one last cab ride, visiting places that hold cherished memories for her.

Logline: Based on a true story about an American pianist who in 1958, at the age of 23, won the first International Tchaikovsky competition held in Moscow at the height of the Cold War.

Logline: Story follows two intertwining love stories. The first story focuses on a 90-year old man stuck in his car after a major crash on an isolated road who sees visions of his life love, who died earlier. The other story follows a young art history major and a handsome bull rider who fall in love despite coming from completely different backgrounds.

Logline: Follows the story of Laurel, a high school sophomore, who sprouts wings and discovers that she was born a fairy. When ill-intentioned developers offer to buy her human family’s land, which contains the portal to the fairy kingdom, Laurel must race to protect the fairies.

Logline: Story centers on a college professor and game theorist who finds himself caught up in the middle of a large-scale global incident.

Logline: When a young girl discovers that her mother is remarrying, she makes a wish for her parents to get back together and causes Manhattan, where her father lives, to break away and float across the Atlantic ocean towards her home in England.
