Reading manuscripts and book proposals for all genres, for both UK and US authors, and producing concise reading reports for the International Rights department, with a specific aim to give feedback about their international scope.

Collaborating with producers to implement the programming strategy. Working up proposals to take them through the greenlight process, pre-production, casting, scripting, rough-cuts, fine cut and final delivery.

Assist the production management team with campaign production, including booking crew, freelancers, and organizing reviews. Create call sheets for filming and understand crew rates and overtime policies.

Duties would include printing scripts, making teas, setting up rooms for meetings and writers rooms, setting up conference calls, looking after talent, running errands, ordering stationery, research tasks, booking travel, assisting with social media posts, organisation of digital wrap files and the production archive.

A keen eye for detail and continuity, with the ability to proactively identify and address potential issues. Ability to take accurate and comprehensive notes during filming, including shot details and continuity information.

Project planning and assisting with the smooth running of our production processes. Supporting the production team. Managing a variety of cost monitors, ensuring that delivery is achievable within the required timeframe and budget.

Read drafts for in-house development projects and provide clear notes for internal and external use to a high standard. Read, assess and report on submissions with the strategic priorities of the company in mind. This can include scripts, books, treatments, remake titles, podcasts.

Scout and secure locations suitable for filming, ensuring they align with creative briefs. Cast contributors and on-screen talent, working closely with the Producer to ensure the content is engaging and relevant. Self-operate filming equipment on location or in studio settings to produce high-quality video content.

Support role for a team who produce on-air promos, above-the-line campaigns, channel branding, advertising for social platforms including TikTok and all creative output in all markets for each of the Hearst Networks EMEA brands. Research, select footage and self-op edit the most suitable content to produce effective promos and social content for all brands.

Working with Productions (Producers, PM’s, LPs, Coordinators, PA’s), Supervisors, Tech and Artists on overall best practices on production workflows and internal production tool configurations.

Support and lead creative (incl. writing, talent, editorial, production) for greenlit productions as well as ongoing development, and will work closely with regional teams on ensuring local productions meet business and creative objectives.

Reading submissions (scripts / books / writing samples) and writing reports to pass onto development team. Tracking new talent (writers / directors) and circulating details of new theatre / film/ television / literature of note.

Work closely with Director of BBC Film to ensure the very best stories, writers, directors and producers are supported by BBC Film. Work proactively to identify dynamic new material to develop for the BBC Film slate.

Handle a high volume of industry and talent relationships, maintaining and tracking key contacts. Conduct research on film industry trends, box office performance, and competitor acquisitions to inform decision-making.

Initiating ideas for films and developing creative treatments across a wide range of subjects both domestic and international. Setting up shoots and dealing with logistics / schedules.

Liaise with the creative team and produce an accurate budget costing per project. Monitor day-to-day spend by project using appropriate departmental purchasing systems and cost managers.

Data entry regarding project tracking for television shows the agents are pitching to external buyers (i.e. Netflix, HBO, etc.). Taking notes during calls and meetings.

Collaborate with key production personnel to ensure creative and budgetary goals are met. Maintain efficient communication and tracking of approvals and updates across the team. Organise writers workshops, distribute scripts and track their progress.

Provide comprehensive support to three Executives, including complex calendar management for internal and external meetings and calls. Maintain a highly agile approach to accommodating evolving schedules and priorities.
