Fox Pulls Plug on Patty Hearst Movie After Heiress Complains the Book Romanticizes Her Rape
It’s now unclear what’s next for director James Mangold, but we’d love to see him get serious about making The Force, based on the excellent cop novel by Don Winslow. Mangold’s last film, Logan, was one of the best movies of 2017.
The up-and-coming actor will star as SLA leader “Cin” opposite Elle Fanning’s Patty Hearst, the two working together for the second time after appearing together in the indie Sydney Hall.
