The original Valiant Comics character was created in 1992 with Deadpool director Tim Miller’s Blur Studios partner Dave Wilson directing from a script by Eric Heisserer (Arrival) with filming to begin in July.

“DMG boss Dan Mintz has no interest in comic book publishing. He sees it as a sort of ghetto art, and is focused solely on turning the company into an output factory for the big and small screens, rather than focusing on the publishing entity that gave the company its value in the first place,” writes Neil Turitz.
A deal has been made to get the Valiant Comics universe to the screen.
Logline: Centers on a drunk, delinquent immortal who has given up on saving the world and the idealistic young man who needs him for a globetrotting quest to stop history’s oldest conspiracy from toppling modern civilization.
Logline: Toyo Harada has been waging a war against superhuman telekinetics known as Harbingers by finding them and imprisoning them. A reformed Harbinger hunter known as Bloodshot decides to release a dozen of the most dangerous and volatile Harbingers from prison to wage war on Harada to atone for his crimes.
Logline: Story follows Angelo Mortalli, a ruthless killer for the mob who is set up by the family and framed for a murder. During his capture he becomes the subject of a secret experiment to erase his memory, but in the process, gains superhuman powers.
Logline: Jazz musician Jack Boniface was almost killed when he was attacked by a nightmarish creature. Now he sees better and is stronger after dark and roams the night searching for demons to cast out. In the daytime, Jack is his old self, but he begins to live for the night.
Logline: Follows a group of teenage outcasts with super powers.
