gilmore girls excerptSeason 1, Episode 4 – “Fall” is the end of Gilmore Girls, and it’s the best Season of the four. Emily welcomes the changes in her life and is incredible in every way. Lorelai finally gets her happy ending. And Rory says those final four words. I laughed. I cringed. I cried. But overall, I am grateful we got a proper goodbye.

gilmore girls excerptSeason 1, Episode 3 – Summer is full of surprises. Emily begins seeing someone new. Rory breaks up with Logan and finds a new passion. Jess! Lorelai is forced to confront the problems in her life. And there’s a long musical interlude. Not the strongest season, but have I mentioned Jess?

gilmore girls excerptSeason 1, Episode 2 – Spring in Stars Hollow has everyone experiencing, wanting and starting to change. Lorelai and Emily go to therapy. Rory’s career comes to a grinding halt. Paris has an incredible — and acrobatic — scene in a bathroom. And the upheaval happens against a visually vibrant backdrop. Minor issues fail to take away from a quintessential Gilmore Girls episode.

gilmore girls excerptSeason 1, Episode 1 – It’s “Winter”, the first season in Gilmore Girls: Revival, and all of the Gilmore women are back. Lorelai wants more from her relationship with Luke. Rory is trying to find her place in the world. Emily is learning to grieve. And Stars Hollow covered in snow is as beautiful as we remembered. Grab a cup of coffee and sink back into this lovely world.

quantico excerptSeason 2, Episode 8 – The winter season of Quantico has us reeling with more questions than answers. While we finally get a clear look at who among the old CIA recruits are actually terrorists, we don’t get a clearer idea of what they’re after.

quantico excerptSeason 2, Episode 7 – This week on Quantico, things heat up at The Farm with a lesson about interrogation techniques and the beginnings of chemistry between Alex and Owen. In the present day, Alex is caught by the terrorists and interrogated herself. This episode was a little more grounded, but as usual, we are left with more questions than answers.

quantico excerptSeason 2, Episode 6 – In one of the first scenes of this week’s episode of Quantico, Alex dreams about Simon killing himself to save everyone in season one, reminding us all of how emotionally impactful and compelling the show used to be.

quantico excerptSeason 2, Episode 5 – With another solid episode this week, Quantico is starting to pick back up. The Farm lesson involves a dead body, so we’re talking intrigue, and the present day introduces someone on the inside helping Alex. However, the show still can’t seem to fix some of its most glaring issues.

quantico excerptSeason 2, Episode 4 – This week’s episode of Quantico has been the strongest of this season so far. The terrorist plot moves forward; the daily Farm lesson is intriguing, and we finally get to glimpse deeper into the CIA recruits’ psyches. Plus, we get a definitive character reveal that will change the course of the season.

quantico excerptSeason 2, Episode 3 – This episode of Quantico leans into the show’s procedural elements by spotlighting a heavy backstory on the CIA trainees in another exercise gone awry. Meanwhile, the present-day terrorist plot continues to go nowhere fast with plenty of things to be suspicious, but not really care, about. At least we get to see Alex in full form again.

quantico excerptSeason 2, Episode 2 – The terrorist plot deepens on Quantico. “Lipstick” finds a slower pace, focusing on the CIA and its untrustworthy recruits, ending on a huge cliffhanger to tie viewers over for the next two weeks.

quantico excerpt The season two premiere of Quantico finds Alex Parrish at the center of several bombings in New York City. She’s the only one that can save a wider terrorist plot from unfolding, and her training at the CIA will be imperative to uncovering the conspiracy. Sound familiar? Maybe following its freshman season formula won’t prove to be such a bad thing.
