Weekend Box Office (03.11.13) — OZ The Great Weekend Dominator

0

“OZ” debuted to a stronger than anticipated 80 million, which is the slam dunk Disney was hoping for. It may also be the biggest debut of this year if I’m not mistaken. “Jack” begins its dive towards obscurity, stopping luckily at 2nd place for now. “Identity Thief” is still holding on to the top as the most box office earned this year, though I’m sure Oz will fix that come next weekend. “Dead Man Down” also debuted this weekend to a disappointing 5 million, with “Snitch” somehow hanging in there still trying to earn back it’s costs.

#1 OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL Weekend = $80.2 Million Total = $80.2 Million
#2 JACK THE GIANT SLAYER Weekend = $10 Million Total = $43.8 Million
#3 IDENTITY THIEF Weekend = $6.3 Million Total = $#116.5 Million
#4 DEAD MAN DOWN Weekend = $5.3 Million Total = $5.3 Million
#5 SNITCH Weekend = $5.1 Million Total = $31.8 Million
