Weekend Box Office (04.01.13) — “G.I. Joe” Retaliates Against “The Croods” and “Tyler Perry”, Causing “Olympus” To Fall

“G.I. Joe” debuts strong pulling in 41 million (51 overall if you include thursdays midnight sales). Enough to knock “The Croods” down a peg to second place, which still pulled in a decent 26 million. Tyler Perry’s “Temptation” debuts to an ok 22 million, but for him that most likely means he’ll earn back his money. “Olympus” falls to forth place, taking in 14 million while “Oz” falls from third to fifth with just 11 million.
