A game of truth or dare manages to come up in just about every teen’s life, usually accompanied with an abundance of hormones, drinking and poor life choices but Universal has just raised the stakes in the trailer for their upcoming film TRUTH OR DARE.
Kick-Ass 2 helmer Jeff Wadlow co-wrote and directed the supernatural thriller that follows a group of friends during an intense game of truth or dare, where if you refuse to play or lie, you die. The trailer feels like a mix of Saw, and my personal favorite horror film, It Follows.
Blumhouse has continued to impress with their latest string of movies including Best Picture nominee Get Out, a massive box office surprise with Split, and the fresh horror film take on Groundhog Day in Happy Death Day.
Lucy Hale stars alongside Tyler Posey, Violett Beane, Sophia Taylor Ali, Nolan Gerard Funk, and Hayden Szeto. Truth or Dare opens in theaters April 27, watch the trailer below.
