Clive Owen will topline sci-fi thriller ANON, written and directed by Andrew Niccol. Set in a world with no privacy, ignorance, and anonymity, the thriller centers on a detective, played by Owen, that stumbles upon a young woman who doesn’t exist and discovers it may not be the end of crime but the beginning.
Owen, star of Children of Men, Closer, and Intruders, earned a Golden Globe nomination this year for his role as the drug-addled doctor in Steven Soderbergh’s The Knick, which is in its second season on Cinemax. He is currently shooting Luc Besson’s sci-fi fantasy film Valerian.
Niccol is the mind behind The Truman Show and The Terminal. His writing & directing credits also include Gattaca, The Host, In Time, and Good Kill.
Owen and Niccol are both repped by CAA.
