The mystery centers around a man who wakes up incarcerated for a crime he does not remember. As he struggles to learn what crime he has committed, he becomes aware that the situation is much more grave than once thought. And as his fate is decided, the audience realizes it has its own waking to do.
The film is being produced by Melanie Bartley and Tyler Peters, with Puga through his Standard Arts, Inc. The film is based on Puga’s 2007 short of the same name, which played at the Palm Springs Festival of Short Films.
In addition to his role on Girls, Abbott’s feature credits include Martha Marcy May Marlene, A Most Violent Year, and the Tiny Fey dramedy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. He recently wrapped on the indie drama Katie Says Goodbye.
Full-Dress is expected to start production in May.
