Jena Malone has been tapped to star in A MOMENT TO REMEMBER, a remake of the John Lee’s 2004 Korean romantic drama by the same name. Katherine Heigl and Amanda Seyfried were previously attached to star.
The film centers on a woman who falls ill and starts to lose her memory which forces her husband to try and give her one last memory of their love.
The Sessions director Ben Lewin will direct the script he co-wrote with Susannah Grant. Cami Winikoff and Scott Lambert will produce alongside Mark Amin of Sobini Films. Brian O’Shea from The Exchange is shopping the title to foreign buyers at Cannes.
Malone can be seen next in Nicolas Winding Refn’s horror The Neon Demon opposite Elle Fanning, which is premiering at Cannes. She also stars in the drama Lovesong which premiered earlier this year at Sundance.
She is repped by Gersh and Special Artists Agency.
