Mark Wahlberg Isn’t Giving Up on Optimus Prime in “Transformers: The Last Knight” Trailer (Video)

Paramount has released the full trailer for and we have decided to share it with you, because believe it or not, the Tracking Board has never posted a trailer for Michael Bay’s latest opus until now.

The studio claims that The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and I hope that’s true, because this franchise could certainly stand to see its core myths shattered.

This time around, humans and Transformers are at war, and Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past regarding the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. The fate of our world now depends on an unlikely alliance between Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins), an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock) and yes, Bumblebee.

The trailer also introduces Nickelodeon star Isabella Moner as the young protagonist of the film, which co-stars Josh Duhamel, Stanley Tucci and John Turturro.

Transformers: The Last Knight storms into theaters on June 23, and like its predecessors, you can see its mega-budget up on the screen. Let’s just hope Bay and company have come up with a better story this time around… and maybe a shorter running time too.
