Well Go USA
Anyone who had a chance to see THE ENDLESS, the new film from directors Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival or Fantasia or any of the other festivals where it played might still be pondering what all of it means.
Benson and Moorhead are the filmmakers behind the thrillers Resolution and Spring, and they both starred and co-directed The Endless, a film that on the surface is about two brothers who escaped from a doomsday cult but are forced to return to get some questions answered, but then it goes into some wild places that involves time travel and other dimensions.
That’s probably all you need to know to see if The Endless is right for you, but if you’re a fan of Richard Kelly’s Donnie Darko, there’s a good chance you’ll dig Benson and Moorhead’s latest.
Well Go USA Entertainment has released a new trailer for the supernatural thriller, which will open in New York on April 6 and in Los Angeles on April 13.
The official synopsis for the film is:
Following their Lovecraftian modern cult classic SPRING, writer/directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead star as brothers who receive a mysterious message inspiring them to pay a visit to the cult they escaped as children. As unsettling events and phenomena begin to occur, the brothers are forced to question whether the cult’s supernatural beliefs might not be entirely made up – and if, now that they’ve returned, they’ll be allowed to leave again.
