DARK PLACES

Logline: With only a graphic novel inspired by her little sister’s kidnapping to her name, a struggling artist moves to New York in order to pursue her dream of getting the work published. After she is rejected by all but one publishing house, she becomes roommates with an ex-con harboring secrets of a similarly dark past, and the two team up on the graphic novel, attempting to help one another overcome their respective traumas in the process.

Logline: Twenty four years after her testimony sent her 15-year-old brother to prison for the slaughter of their family, Libby meets a club of true crime enthusiasts who not only believe her brother is innocent, but the real killer remains on the loose.
