Aaron Johnson is the latest actor now in consideration to star in Warner Bros. GODZILLA.
Although the story is being kept under wraps, it can pretty safely be assured that it will follow in the (monster-sized) footsteps of past Godzilla installments, with the giant beast terrorizing a metropolitan area. The studio previously had looked at Joseph Gordon-Levitt as well.
Producing will be Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Brian Rogers and Mary Parent.
After having a break-out 2010 with “Kick-Ass” and “Nowhere Boy”, Johnson most recently starred in this year’s “Savages” and “Anna Karenina” and will reprise his role as Dave Lizewski in “Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall”.
He is repped by WME and Hamilton Hodell.
