Tyson Ritter, lead singer from the All American Rejects will co-star with Wyatt Russell as Gregg and Duane Allman, respectively. Entitled MIDNIGHT RIDERS: THE GREGG ALLMAN STORY, the film chronicles the life of Gregg Allman, one of the founders of the hit rock group “The Allman Brothers Band.”
For the CAA repped Ritter, best known for his musical talents as musician and lead vocalist in his band, this flick will be the rock star’s acting debut in a feature length film–no pressure or anything. We’ll see if rocking out sell-out crowds have amply prepped Tyson for performing in front of a lens.
Ritter will be in good company though, with the UTA repped Russell by his side. Having ditched a career in pro-hockey to join the family business, Russell is currently shooting “22 Jump Street,” and can be seen in “We Are What We Are.”
