“Orange Is the New Black” actress Alysia Reiner has booked a recurring role on Shonda Rhimes’ new drama HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER. ABC’s freshman series is a legal thriller following a group of ambitious, cut-throat law students and their brilliant but tough criminal defense professor who get caught up on the wrong side of a murder plot. Reiner has been cast as a prosecutor who goes toe to toe with Viola Davis’ character, Annalise. Reiner also joins Alfred Enoch, Liza Weil and her “Orange” co-star Matt McGorry.
Reiner is most well known for her role as the conniving and sneaky Natalie Figueroa (Fig) on Netflix’s “Orange Is the New Black.” You may also remember her from 2004’s dramedy “Sideways” and for her role in rom-com “That Awkward Moment.” Next up, Reiner is set to appear in rom-com “Emotional Rescue” alongside Heather Graham.
