A segmented selection of the BASED ON Selections from the IN DEVELOPMENT projects. This hub covers all In Development projects that are based on pre-existing Television series or projects, digital projects such as Youtube series, as well as performance arts and theater projects.

Logline: When a mysterious paralyzing infection sweeps across the planet, one uninfected man and a small band of scientists and soldiers hunt down the source of the infection that may not be human.

Logline: Centers on a fan cruise held in honor of “The Children of Castor,” a fictitious 1980s post apocalyptic sci-fi TV series. The cast is the guest of honor, but they’ve got mixed feelings, specifically dependent on whose career stalled with the series, and who went on to bigger and better things.

Logline: Set on a tropical island in the Pacific during World War II, a U.S. Navy nurse falls in love with a local plantation owner.

Logline: Told in two segments, the story follows the Vickery family as they come together to rally around their 12-year-old son after a tragic baseball accident caused by his twin brother leaves him brain damaged and dependent on his family for his every need. Picking up six years later, the family re-examines the very distinct choices they’ve made for themselves in order to survive.

Logline: Series of which it is based, centers on a group of truckers who drive 18-wheelers over a 350-mile highway made of ice, as they haul equipment and supplies to diamond miners working in the tundra of Canada’s Northwest Territories. Film version is being pitched as an “Action/Thriller across the ice.”

Logline: Story examines sexual morals within and between social classes, using various pairs of characters who have sexual encounters in and outside of their social classes.

A former black ops commando who faked his death for a quiet life in Boston comes out of his retirement to rescue a young girl and finds himself face to face with Russian gangsters.

Logline: Based on the 1960’s TV show, in which a woman played the widowed matriarch of the wealthy Barkley family living in 19th-century Stockton, California.

Logline: Story centers on a group of high school kids as their schoolings comes to and end, and their real life is about to begins.

Logline: An incredibly resourceful secret agent for the Phoenix Foundation frequently escapes from dangerous situations with ingenious and lightning-quick engineering trickery.

Logline: Story follows an aging monarch wodescends into madness after foolishly disposing of his estate between two of his three daughters based on their flattery, bringing tragic consequences for all.

Logline: The story of three elderly, former opera-singers living in a retirement home for musicians, who suddenly find themselves invited to a “reunion event.”

Logline: Chased out of their village by the evil wizard Gargamel, the tiny blue Smurfs tumble from their magical world and into ours – finding themselves in Central Park. Now stuck in New York, the Smurf struggle with each other, humans, and the evil wizard bent on destroying them as they try to find a way to get back to their village.

Logline: Four college women discuss and experience love, sex, post-college worry, how to be a woman, and how to not be afraid to call a spade a spade on their final, bittersweet weekend before graduation.

Logline: Special Agents Napoleon Soto and Illya Kullyakin work for the mysterious United Network Command for Law Enforcement (U.N.C.L.E.) to battle the dastardly villains of Thrush.

Logline: After Air Force One crashes in South America, the U.S. president is the sole survivor and must deal with hostile enemies to get out alive.

Logline: The story focuses on three days in the upper Manhattan neighborhood of Washington Heights, where a bodega owner who inherited his grandmother’s lottery windfall plots his retirement to a Dominican Republic beach. As he bids farewell to his customers on the block, he becomes conflicted about leaving behind a group that has become family.

Logline: Story centers on Prince Adam, who, after uttering the magic words “By the power of Grayskull, I have the power,” magically turned into the heroic He-Man, the hero who along with his allies — Battle Cat, Man-at-Arms and Orko — defended the planet Eternia, and their Castle Grayskull from the evil forces of Skeletor.

Logline: An outstanding Navy pilot becomes the target of a witch hunt when evidence surfaces that romantically links him with one of his fellow aviators who was tragically killed during a non-combat mission.

Logline: In 1162, Thomas Becket is appointed by his friend Henry II as Archbishop of Canterbury then ultimately sides with the church against the crown.
