Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtenay have been tapped to star in 45 YEARS.
Based on the short story of the same name written by David Constantine, the film centers on a couple who, leading up to their 45th wedding anniversary, receive a letter stating that the husband’s former lover has been found frozen in a glacier in the Swiss Alps. Rampling and Courtenay will play the married couple. Andrew Haigh will direct from his own script while Tristan Golighter will produce.
Rampling starred in “Melancholia”, “The Eye of the Storm” and “Night Train to Lisbon” and will next be seen in “The Sea.” She is repped by Artmedia and Diamond Management.
Courtenay also appeared in “Night Train to Lisbon” as well as “The Golden Compass” and “Quartet.”
