Chyler Leigh and David Harewood have joined the cast of CBS’ SUPERGIRL, alongside of Melissa Benoa in the title role.
Leigh will be playing Alexandra Danvers, the foster sister of Supergirl, who has grown up being fascinated by her. She was inspired to become a doctor due to her exsposure of the far-advanced science of Krypton.
Harewood, known for his role on Homeland, will be playing an version of the DC Comic character Hank Henshaw. The series will see Henshaw as a CIA agent who runs the Department of Extra-Normal Operations.
Supergirl is also set to star Ally McBeal’s Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant and True Blood’s Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen.
