Logline: After learning of Einstein’s Theory of Relativity, a space-obsessed 12-year-old comes up with a crazy plan to save his cancer-stricken father: build a spaceship that will travel fast enough to slow down his aging, and therefore the spread of his cancer. He’ll team up with an unhinged former astronaut who claims to know how to make it happen... and in the process, maybe just learn how to say goodbye. A coming-of-age story in the vein of Super 8, Stand By Me, and E.T.
