Cynthia Addai-Robinson is the latest to join the upcoming Warner Bros thriller THE ACCOUNTANT. The film stars Ben Affleck as an autistic accountant who handles the books for the world’s most dangerous crime families who finds his life threatened when the IRS closes in on him and the mafia turns on him. Addai-Robinson will portray a Treasury Department analyst who has kept a low-profile. She joins a high-profile cast consisting of Anna Kendrick, J.K. Simmons and Jon Bernthal. Gavin O’Connor will direct an original script from Bill Dubuque.
Addai-Robinson has only recently made the jump into features, having already established an extensive career in television, appearing in such series as Spartacus: Blood and Sand, The Vampire Diaries and Dallas. She’s perhaps best known for her continued portrayal of the ruthless Amanda Waller on the superhero series Arrow. She also appeared briefly in Star Trek Into Darkness. Up next, she’ll star in the History Channel western mini-series Texas Rising.
