Donald Glover In Talks To Join “Spider-Man: Homecoming”

It looks like ’s campaign efforts to be in a Spider-Man movie are paying off.

The Greendale Community College alum is circling a role in starring the new Peter Parker, Tom Holland. If Glover signs on, he will join Marisa Tomei, Zendaya, Tony Revolori, Laura Harrier, Robert Downey Jr., Kenneth Choi, Michael Barbieri, and Michael Keaton in the third iteration of the comic book hero that will focus on Peter Parker’s high school days.

Glover is no stranger to the Spider-Man franchise. In 2012, during Sony’s reboot of the franchise, he started a fan campaign for him to star in it. The role eventually went to Andrew Garfield, but Glover made a cameo in The Amazing Spider-Man – appearing in a photograph in Peter Parker’s room. Glover also voiced mixed race Spider-Man Miles Morales in the animated Ultimate Spider-Man on Disney XD.
