Ethan Embry and Brooklyn Decker join Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin in GRACE & FRANKIE. The Netflix comedy series follows two lifelong frenemies whose husbands suddenly announce that they’re in love with each other and plan to get married. With their lives turned upside down, the duo realize they’re stuck together, for better or worse. TV vets Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston have been cast as the husbands, while Embry will play Coyote, the charming son of Waterston and Tomlin’s characters. Decker has been cast as Mallory, Fonda and Sheen’s younger daughter who now doubts her own life choices after the bombshell of her parent’s divorce.
Embry started out as a child actor in the underrated dramedy “Dutch,” before getting his big break playing Rusty Griswold in “Vegas Vacation.” After that, he went on to smaller roles in films like “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Eagle Eye” before landing an arc as Greg Mendell on ABC’s “Once Upon a Time.” His next film, action/thriller “The Guest” which stars Dan Stevens, will premiere later this year.
Decker is coming off of cancelled CBS series “Friends With Better Lives” and before that stole scenes in comedies like “Just Go With It” and “What to Expect When You’re Expecting.” Her most recent film was Universal’s action/sci-fi “Battleship.” Her next project is another action flick, “Stretch,” which follows a limo driver who carts around an eccentric millionaire all night so he can collect $6,000 to pay off his debts. Written by Joe Carnahan, the project also stars Patrick Wilson and Chris Pine.
